Merging

In Merging, the act of a kiss becomes something more elusive than a simple gesture between two bodies. Seen through a fluid and distorting surface, the figures lose their clear contours, gradually dissolving into one another until the image hovers between presence and disappearance.

The moment captured here is less about the event itself than about the fragile space where two identities begin to blur. Faces, reflections, and movement collapse into a single vibrating form, transforming intimacy into a shifting field of light and texture.

What remains is not a narrative but a sensation — a fleeting state in which boundaries soften and the distinction between self and other becomes uncertain. In this suspended moment, the image suggests that closeness is not merely an encounter between two bodies, but a temporary merging of perception, energy, and presence.
